Our Beginner 70.3 Triathlon Coaching Plan is expertly designed for athletes new to the middle distance. This comprehensive plan offers a progressive approach to training, catering to those with limited experience in endurance sports to finish a 70.3. Here’s what you can expect:
Receive a 20-week training plan with an average training time of 10 hours a week that balances swimming, cycling, and running. Each week progressively builds your endurance, strength, and speed while ensuring ample recovery time to optimise performance and prevent injuries.
The training plan is developed over four phases of training:
- Base Phase (6 weeks)
- Build Phase (6 weeks)
- Peak Phase (6 weeks)
- Taper Phase (2 weeks)
Each training phase is packed with information and advice, including detailed training sessions, technique improvements, recovery, nutrition and race and mental preparation to enhance your focus, overcome challenging moments, and build the confidence necessary for race day.
