Test Structure:
Initial Consultation:
- We discuss your running history, training goals, and any previous injuries.
- This helps tailor the analysis to your specific needs.
Multi-Speed Running Assessment:
- You will run at a range of speeds (easy, moderate, and race pace) on a treadmill.
- Each speed is recorded and analysed to capture how your form changes as intensity increases.
Fatigue Condition Assessment (Optional):
- For athletes aiming to identify how their form degrades under fatigue, we extend the test duration or include a sustained high-intensity effort.
- This allows us to identify any technique breakdowns that occur when you are tired, which can highlight critical areas for injury prevention and performance improvement.
Detailed Video Analysis:
- We use high-frame-rate video analysis to capture your running mechanics.
- Foot strike, stride length, hip alignment, knee tracking, and upper body posture are all assessed.
- We provide a clear, frame-by-frame breakdown of your running form at each speed.
Bespoke Strength Program:
- Based on the findings, you receive a customised strength and conditioning program targeting any identified weaknesses or imbalances.
